I did see the show and I plan to review it, thanks for reminding me how great the show was. I love that you point out how this show feels more like a museum show; many paintings on loan, etc. Definitely once in a lifetime, I plan to see it again.
I have long been a fan of Soutine: this pairing with de Kooning, Joan Mitchell and the others is a real treat for the eye.
